Description

Limited vinyl LP pressing of this 2004 album. This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In) is the third studio album and second major label release by American alternative metal band Chevelle. Peaking at #8, it charted higher on the Billboard 200 than it's predecessor, Wonder What's Next. This Type of Thinking follows generally the same heavy style as Wonder What's Next with popular singles like "Vitamin R" and "The Clincher". It would be the first of two records produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette. This was also the final album featuring bassist Joe Loeffler, who departed from the band in 2005.

Tracklist:

  1. The Clincher
  2. Get Some
  3. Vitamin R (Leading Us Along)
  4. Still Running
  5. Breach Birth
  6. Panic Prone
  7. Another Know It All
  8. Tug-O-War
  9. To Return
  10. Emotional Drought
  11. Bend the Bracket

RMFN Notes:

"Easily a top 3 Chevelle album, This Type Of Thinking displays Chevelle at their sharpest. Unlike Wonder What's Next?, this record is calculated & crisp without sacrificing any of their heaviest. Start to finish a master class in the Hard Rock / Metal crossover." - Chris
