RMFN Notes:
"Arguably the most underrated rock album of the late 90s, No. 4 might be my favorite of Scott Weiland's. His vocals are confident, varied, and powerful throughout the entire album, especially on: Down, Pruno, No Way Out, and Atlanta. The band was going through a bit of an identity crisis before this album, so their goal was to make a straightforward hard rock album. Boy, did they accomplish that. The guitars are tuned down to Drop D for several of these tracks, giving tracks like Down a slight metal edge. The strength in this album is its overall flow & deep cuts. My personal favorites are: the blissful Glide, Atlanta's haunting delivery, Heaven & Hot Rods' guitar riffs, the country swing of I Got You, and the Beatles esque Sour Girl." - Chris
